Join us for abstract watercolor painting at Tenfold Farmstand, in the historic Union District Schoolhouse, est. 1895.
There will be 70 paint colors for you to choose from, plus 6 metallics. You will spend time selecting your colors intuitively, for the way they make you feel. This process is quite personal.
What we paint does not need to accurately represent real things that we see in the "outside world". We listen to our intuitions as our paintings build shape by shape, mark by mark, without planning the end result. We paint simply and methodically, focusing on and enjoying putting paint on paper.
High quality watercolor paint, very good brushes, 1 piece of Arches 140# cold press watercolor paper (and a second if you finish your first painting), and set-ups for painting in class will be provided.
